After a long wait, Reliance has finally launched the video conferencing app JioMeet. It will compete with pre-existing zoom apps, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams. You can download JioMeet from Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
A few days ago Reliance released its beta version for testing and now it has been launched for all Android and iOS users.
It may take some time to get the web version
You can access JioMeet from both mobile and web. Its app is already available on the Play Store and App Store, but the web version may take some time to arrive. ‘Coming Soon’ is written on its website.
What is the specialty of JioMeet?
Talking about the features of Reliance JioMeet, it can add 100 participants in one call and it is completely free. You can start a call by signing up with it through your mobile number or email ID. In this, you can have as many meetings as you want in a day and a meeting can last up to 24 hours. Zoom does not have such a feature. JioMeet says that all its meetings are password protected.
JioMeet has given ‘safe driving mode
In JioMeet, the host gets control of sending the uninvited guest to the waiting room so that there is no interference in the meeting.
Apart from this, it also has a screen share feature like zoom. Also, it has ‘Safe Driving Mode’, which is like the ‘Don’t disturb’ mode coming in the phone. Turning it on means that other apps on the phone will not disturb you during the meeting.
Multi-device log-in is available on JioMeet
Apart from all this, JioMeet has another feature that can make it stand out from the rest of the apps. You can log in to it from five devices simultaneously. WhatsApp has been working on such a multi-device feature for quite some time, but JioMeet has brought this feature to its users. This means that if needed, you can log in from five different devices simultaneously with the same ID.
